FAQ’s

Blushing Boudoir are always happy to answer your questions. Here are a few of our most commonly asked.

What is boudoir photography?

Boudoir photography or boudoir portraits are sensual images that show you a your ultimate best. The idea of boudoir photography comes from the idea of photographing a woman in her most intimate setting, her “boudoir”. How much clothing you do or don’t wear is completely your choice.

What happens at my photoshoot?

You will arrive to be greeted by our female team who will offer you a drink (tea, coffee, herbal tea, hot chocolate, juice, wine or champagne) and some nibbles before having an in-depth chat about what you want from your  make-over experience, what you love about your body and what you aren’t so keen on. We are women so we understand that everyone has their own personal niggles! You will be asked if you have any allergies, what make-up and hair looks you like and dislike and then you will be taken into hair and make-up where you will being your superstar transformation.

What do I need to bring to my makeover photoshoot?

We advise that you bring sensual lingerie and underwear, negliges, stockings and suspenders, hold-ups, high heels, jeans, your favourite evening outfit and some even like to bring a football shirt or mans shirt to have a picture for their partners.
